-Photo of the Day-

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually this post should be titled: "Close Encounters with African Hospitals" rather than "Photo of the Day", but I didn't want to scare anyone. So I had a very minor illness back in June, that required an overnight stay in one of our local hospitals. Yep, that's right, I spent the night in an African hospital and lived to tell about it! Haha! Actually, if you have money they are very nice places. Just put down $1000 US dollars up front and then everyone is extrememly nice to you! (My health insurance will be reimbursing me for the up-front costs.) I chose to go to a private hospital for treatment, rather than the public hospital based on reputation and I am happy to report that I received first class care. Nice nurses, good doctors, lovely facilities and lots of visits from friends. Some sweet friends here brought me these little guys...

Cute huh? Thankfully I was on the mend very quickly and wasn't in the hospital long enough to collect the whole safari of stuffed animals! And let's hope I never do!
